Run for 10 seconds
We have been following the Olympics and learning about measuring different distances.
My step/stride length is 57 cm.
I take 14 steps to walk 10 metres.
I would take 140 steps to walk 100 metres.
When I ran for 10 seconds I ran to 5 cones or 50 metres. I need to run 50 more metres to get 100 metres.

Thoughts about Camp

The activity at camp I am most looking forward to is I’m looking forward to archery because I am never done it before so I really want to do it.
- I can’t wait to have a go at Rock climbing since I have never done that or climbing before so I really want to give it a try.
- I am excited to try the beds but I don’t know how comfortable they are or not.
- I am a little worried about the rock wall because I’ve never been so high before.
- I will be proud of myself when I do kayaking it looks really fun.
- I am so glad I get to go on camp with Boston because we’re really good friends.
5 page book – Matariki
Even though they just look like stars they are very important to us. Matariki is when alot of people in your family and from around the world will come and huddle up and look at the stars. On Friday everybody gets a day off so everybody can make friends

It was not easy to get the colour but when I figured it out it was easy. I use Pollylines to make my mountains. I use the
shapes to make my stars that isn’t the mountain on the top .
